The Lord Mayor of Leicester

The Lord Mayor and Mayoress of Leicester with Mrs. Crankshaw and Phyllis Green at St. Margaret's Church.

St. Margaret's Charity Coffee Morning in aid of the Lord Mayor's Appeal raised £200 said, local resident and campaigner Phyllis Green.

Phyllis said, "The St. Margaret's church group hold coffee mornings on a regular basis to raise money for charity, the Lord mayors appeal which is the Leicester Children's Holiday Home in Mablethorpe was the Charity chosen for this month." The group chose a different charity to raise money for each month.
