Ian Bradwell and local residents have started a campaign to place some form of safety crossing on Braunstone Avenue, near the newly built children's park.

Ian who has a visual disability said, "During certain hours of the day, traffic speed along Braunstone Avenue, I'm quiet worried that a child going to or from the new play area could be hit. I can only point out the short sightlessness of the Council to build a play area close to a road that can get busy without a safety crossing for children and mothers.
