A Christmas Celebration in Eyres Monsell

THE local area committee have agreed to invest money into running the first Christmas public festival in the Eyres Monsell area for decades.
The event take's place on the 13th of December 2005, 6pm on The Exchange. Their will free kids rides, food and entertainment.
Leader of the Council, Councillor Blackmore said-
"Area Committees are enabling local residents to have a say, make a difference and get things done that they have been asking for, for years and years, but have been ignored by decades of Labour neglect in Leicester"
Ward Councillor Mark Farmer said-
"This celebration helps encourage Community Spirit in the area. This will be an event to remember"
