Peter Coley, Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Leicester West and Leader of the Liberal Democrat Council opposition, has publicly pledged to do his bit for the British Armed Forces family.

The British Armed Forces family manifesto sets out priorities for the next Government to improve conditions for the British Armed Forces past and present and their families. It encourages MPs and prospective parliamentary candidates (PPCs) to "do their bit" for Service Personnel and their families, the bereaved, veterans and dependants.

Peter Coley said, "I was delighted to show my support publicly. The Legion has an extremely important role to play in highlighting the needs of the Armed Forces family, and they deserve our support not just for now but also after the general election."
