Leicester City Council said it would start a 3 year plan to build more Parking Bays in the area according to information received by Chris Garner and Scott Kennedy-Lount, Liberal Democrat Focus Team members in Leicester's Eyres Monsell Ward. Roche Close, Hillsborough Road, Redhouse Gardens, Tamerton Road and Runcorn Close have been completed.
Chris and Scott have been told more bays are planned in financial year 2016-17 for Tamerton Road, Ford Close and Sturdee Road.
It is hoped to extend this in the future to include Redhouse Close, Henray Avenue, Ebchester Close, Redhouse Rise, Queensferry Parade, Monmouth Drive, Sturdee Close and Packhorse Road. However this does depend on the money being available.
