Good news for Tenants Associations

Every tenant in Leicester could benefit from a Tenants Association under plans announced by the Lib Dems. The Lib Dems are providing enough money to fund 30-40 new tenants associations.
Up to now Tenants Associations have been funded under a scheme set up by Labour which meant that 80% of the money went to just four Tenants Associations. Funding for each property under Labour varied massively from £45 to as little as 62p - from a total of £183,000.
