High Environmental Standards in Council buildings

Braunstone Health and Social Care Centre won an award at the Procon Award Ceremony.

The Procon award's are for Leicestershire's best buildings.

The building won an award for it's high environmental standard's. It's cutting edge features include- using natural and not artifical lighting, recycling water and high insulation standards.

Liberal Democrat Braunstone Park and Rowley Fields Ward Councillor Andy Metcalfe said

"It's great to see so many projects These projects demonstrate that Liberal Democrats in Leicester are committed to high environmental standards for Council buildings"

Another Braunstone area project to win award was Braunstone Leisure Centre, getting an award for being a leading Regeneration project.
