1. The Leicester Liberal Democrats have selected local campaigner Zuffar Haq MBE as their candidate in the Evington Ward by-election to Leicester City Council on Thursday February 3rd.

Zuffar has a strong record of community action, stalwart campaigner for the NHS, fighting to save green spaces and speaking up for unpaid family carers.
