Leicester members at East Midlands Regional Conference - Saturday February 24th, 2018

Leicester Liberal Democrats were strongly represented at yesterday's East Midlands Regional Conference held in Derby. Party members had a variety of debates, including Brexit, Reform of the House of Lords and fairer funding for the East Midlands Region from the government.

Besides the well attended fringe meetings members listened to keynote speeches from Baroness Lorely Burt, Liberal Democrats Equality Spokesperson, in the morning session and closing speech by Baroness Susan Kramer, Liberal Democrats Treasury spokesperson.
