As with all political parties, Leicester's Liberal Democrats rely on donations made by kind members and supporters. These donations help run the website, digital media and support campaigns not just at election time.

The Local Choice Who Listens
Leicestershire County Council is responsible for highways issues locally. For the past two decades the Conservatives have controlled the County Council. Over these 20 years Council Tax bills have soared yet roads maintenance budgets have been slashed. The result is many local roads are congested and our pavements and road surfaces are crumbling.
Whilst 45 parts of England are celebrating getting support from the government's new Towns Fund, there's been an angry response to the news that Leicestershire is again missing out on support.
Like many people, unfortunately last year I got the Covid-19 virus. I had to go into Intensive Care for a short time, then onto a Covid ward. While I was in hospital, it gave me a wonderful opportunity, to observe how brilliant our NHS nurses are.
