The Lib Dems have achieved a 'below inflation' council tax rise for a third year in a row and it will be one of the lowest rises in the country. The rate will be only 2.6%

Street-Drinking Ban Extended in City Centre

Drinkers have been gathering on the grounds of Leicester Cathedral to escape the street drinking ban imposed on the near by main roads and public spaces, so the Cathedral along with it's surrounding streets have now been declared no-drinking zones.
